Saoirse Psychology aims to help clients achieve an improved quality of life, working towards a greater sense of personal control. The team has combined experience in counselling and clinical settings, and provide a supportive, non-judgmental and confidential space. We work collaboratively with the client in tailoring therapy to their unique set of circumstances. Therapy may range from a few sessions when targeting a specific problem, to medium and longer-term therapy when addressing long-held problematic behaviours, interpersonal patterns and emotion difficulties.
We have substantial experience working with Borderline Personality Disorder, Chronic Depression, Anxiety, Rehabilitation and Addictions (drug, alcohol, sex, gambling, etc) in both hospital, EAP and counselling centres. We have assisted people with a history of trauma, for major life transitions, and with LGBTIQ and cross-cultural concerns.
Our therapists employs a range of therapeutic styles in helping clients to understand how their upbringing, development and more recent circumstances shape them, including how they relate to others and how they understand and perceive themselves.
