Priscilla believes in fostering a safe, supportive and non-judgemental space for clients to explore life’s challenges and connect with their inner strengths and values. She takes a collaborative approach to therapy and encourages her clients to enhance their wellbeing by actively working towards their goals, cultivating self-compassion in response to difficult life events and develop authentic and meaningful relationships with others. Priscilla has over five years of clinical experience working across a number of settings including a university counselling service, outpatient hospital programs and community-based mental health.
For the past four years Priscilla has worked in the public sector with emergency services personnel presenting with complex trauma, work-related issues and interpersonal and emotional difficulties.
Priscilla is currently undertaking doctoral research with Monash University examining the impact of workplace issues on employee mental health. Priscilla is LGBTQI+ aware and affirmative and is actively involved in ongoing professional development to maintain evidence-based practice and actively support a diverse range of client needs and presenting issues.
