I am on a mission to remove the stigma around mental health.
We all have a body, so we all talk about our physical health, right?
But we all have a brain, so why don’t we all talk openly about our mental health?
1 in 5 people will be diagnosed with a mental illness this year, more than half will at some stage in their life.
If you can’t identify which 1 in 5 of your friends have been battling mental health issues this year, then it’s not your fault! Nor theirs… It’s because they don’t feel comfortable talking about it.
You don’t need to have a mental illness to discuss mental health, just like you don’t have to be sick to want to get in better shape.
Let’s start talking about mental fitness as freely as we talk about wanting to lose those extra couple of kilos.
